To enquire about a photoshoot or ask any questions, simply reach out to me via email or phone. You can enquire about availability, preferred dates and any specific preferences you may have. We'll work together to find you and your family the perfect date and time.
Once we've confirmed the date and time, I will email you a contract to read and sign. Following the contract you will receive an invoice for the reservation fee to hold your session date.
All that said and done, we'll discuss any additional details, such as location ideas, wardrobe suggestions and desired photo style to ensure that your session perfectly captures the essence of your family.
When you arrive at the shoot, expect a warm and relaxed atmosphere. You'll have the chance to share any last-minute ideas you may have, and I'll go over the plan for the session. You'll have the opportunity to finalize your wardrobe choices.
After the photoshoot, my editing process begins to enhance and perfect each image. I carefully select the best shots. As part of the editing process, I fine-tune each images for colour balance, lighting, and skin refinement. I pay special attention to correcting any imperfections while enduring a natural and flattering appearance.
Within 2-3 weeks, you can expect to receive a notification that your images are ready for viewing. Before final delivery of your images, I kindly request the remaining payment to be settled. Once the payment is received, the gallery link is promptly sent, ready for you to select.
Newborns cry, its how they communicate and it is totally normal. I plan every session for 2-4 hours so there is zero rush. We pause for feeds, cuddles, diaper changes and soothing whenever your baby needs it. Most babies settle once they're warm, full, and swaddled. If there is a fussy stretch, we simply work around it. You will leave with a full, varied gallery of peaceful, dreamy images.
You are not alone. Almost every new mom feels this way. I provide a curated client closet of flattering designer dresses, guide you into comfortable, natural poses, and use soft, forgivable lighting. Most moms tell me afterwards "I actually love how I look in these photos." Being in the pictures with the baby is one of the best decisions you'll make.
100% yes. Baby acne, jaundice, dry skin, and little scratches are completely normal and temporary. I use gentle, natural retouching to soften these while keeping every photo authentic to your baby.
I get it. I have two little girls myself and I know first hand how difficult it is to get everyone moving. Packing diapers, bottles, and a newborn (plus siblings) is a mission. That's why my Danforth studio is designed for comfort: everything you need is here (outfits, wraps, bottle warmers, nursing pillows, changing station, diapers, pacifies, wipes, even a cozy spot for you to rest). Just show up - I handle the rest.
This is super common - and totally fine. Many dads feel awkward in front of the camera and just prefer to stay home. Believe it or not, a lot of moms come alone, and it often makes the session even more relaxed and focused.
We'll capture beautiful portraits of you and your baby (and baby solo). Either way, if he changes his mind and wants a quick family shot, we can sneak one in, no pressure.
Digital files are wonderful for sharing, but nothing compares to seeing your baby's tiny toes on your wall or flipping through a heirloom album with your morning coffee. I can guide you through choosing wall art, frames and albums that fit your home perfectly - so your portraits become part of your daily life that adorn your walls.
